Gemma turned her university dissertation project into a company, SkyBound Rescuer, which now specialises in the use of drones for public safety.
Gemma has led cutting-edge research into drone use for public safety operations, including maritime search and rescue. Her work on Essex Police’s drone procedures led to her being awarded a Commendation for its impact on public safety.
Gemma has represented the drone industry by speaking to Members of Parliament and has become widely respected as a thought leader in both the drone and public safety sectors.
