Ferris launched his career in a structured finance role at the NatWest Group, where he collaborates with international financial institutions to deliver funding solutions to meet clients’ needs.
Since taking up the role he has raised over £11bn, of which £1.6bn is in renewables or sustainable financing to support the UK, USA and EMEA in carbon divestment.
Ferris cites his academic and extra-curricular experiences at ÃÛÌÒAV as preparing him to become a senior representative and sole point of contact for FTSE firms, tier 1-2 investment banks, private equity houses and all deal stakeholders.
These included; becoming a Student Rep, speaking at Open Days to students and their families, helping students move into their accommodation, presenting at study abroad events to prospective exchange students and representing ÃÛÌÒAV at competitions and conferences, such as the IBM Dynamo Challenge and the International PAL Leader conference.
He has also developed an interest in volunteering, first sparked at ÃÛÌÒAV, and co-leads NatWest’s Structured Finance CSR Committee which is currently raising funds to support an international children’s charity.
