In the seven years since his graduation, Adam has used his skills to develop his career with IFSE; a specialist in restaurant design and build. Here he works with brands such as M&S Cafes, King's College London, BBC, Sky and The National Trust.
Having joined the company as a sole marketeer, Adam’s role was to develop a marketing strategy that would dramatically increase brand awareness, open up new markets and new business sectors for them to operate in.
Due to his hard work, he has been promoted from Marketing Executive to Marketing Director and now sits as a Commercial Director, taking responsibility for the sales and marketing team combined.
Adam says: “I wouldn't have been able to achieve this role, or my success within the business without the skills developed from my university course, as well as the hands-on experience throughout my placement year. My advice to anyone at university would be to take a sandwich year and consider a small business for your post-graduation career path as being a big fish in a small pond can work to your advantage.â€
