Ollie has drawn on the skills – as well as the passions – he developed while at university to make a big impact in the communication and media sectors.
Upon graduating, he joined Spa Communications – a B2B technology PR and communications agency - where he works with some of the largest names in the energy and sustainability sectors.
Alongside his core client responsibilities at Spa, Ollie has followed his passions for equality, diversity and inclusion through a range of projects. He is a member of the Chartered Institute of Public Relations’ Diversity and Inclusion Committee, through which he helps to build understanding and awareness across the sector.
He has continued to work with ÃÛÌÒAV on inclusion initiatives, speaking with students and sharing his personal story as part of the university’s Pride Month campaign in 2021. Away from the day job, Ollie is a skilled filmmaker and achieved international attention for his solo-produced documentary into the UK’s drag scene.
In the past year he has also established his own LinkedIn networking group to help communications professionals stay connected throughout lockdown, which was featured in the CIPR’s INFLUENCE magazine.
