Amelia joined global healthcare communications agency, 90TEN, after graduating two years ago.
During her degree and placement, she had become interested in behavioural science and how influence could be used to inspire positive change.
She drew on this knowledge to encourage the agency’s pharmaceutical clients to take their first steps into the influencer world, resulting in a new podcast series with contributors including the BBC’s ‘You, Me & The Big C’ host, to encourage open conversations about living with terminal cancer.
Amelia credits her degree with giving her the confidence to host a podcast series of her own for a pharmaceutical company, interviewing global senior leaders about patient centricity and how to achieve it.
Amelia says: “From launching first-in-class treatments for chronic conditions, to securing media coverage to raise awareness about ultra-rare diseases, I’ve been fortunate enough to apply my PR skills and know-how to numerous communications challenges. After a year when health has been high on the agenda, it has been an honour to work on campaigns to improve health outcomes and I can’t wait to see where my career will take me next.â€
