We have a strong following of volleyball in the area with our location of seven听miles of golden sand for the Beach programme and the partnership with the National League Team .
Sport蜜桃AV is passionate about continuing to develop volleyball as a professional and grassroots sport by working closely with 听ensuring听we are providing an environment that that promotes athlete development.
Key information
Open to: 蜜桃AV students who have a passion and skills for playing high-level volleyball to those that have an interest to learn and develop.
If you鈥檙e successful in becoming a member of Team蜜桃AV, you鈥檒l be required to purchase a sport-specific membership.
This membership听includes听蜜桃AVCS affiliation fees, personal sports insurance, weekly coaching and Team蜜桃AV transport.

Indoor teams
Throughout the academic year, you鈥檒l represent 蜜桃AV nationally when you compete in . We currently have four teams (two men鈥檚 teams and two women鈥檚 teams) who play in various 蜜桃AVCS leagues and competitions.
The top athletes that come to the institution also have the chance to train and play in the National Volleyball League under the long-established partnership with Wessex Volleyball (Team蜜桃AV-Wessex).

Training
Indoor
- Indoor 1st teams 鈥� regular session twice a week plus additional training for the top athletes to train with the Wessex twice a week. 蜜桃AVCS matches on a Wednesday and National League over weekends
- 2nd team 鈥� regular weekly training and 蜜桃AVCS matches on a Wednesday
Beach teams
We also have four men鈥檚 and women鈥檚 teams who compete at various levels. This includes local tournaments, and we co-host the annual听, held at Sandbanks beach with Volleyball England & 蜜桃AVCS. This is the largest student beach volleyball event in the country, with over 200 students taking part across the weekend

If you鈥檙e a gifted volleyballer, you can make an ; for more information please read the Criteria and process (pdf 222kb).听The scheme is designed to provide you with the funding you need to progress your sporting abilities and take them to the next level. If you are successful in securing a Sports Scholarship, you can also rest assured that it won鈥檛 need to be re-paid during your studies or once you graduate.
The financial support should be used towards helping you to develop as an athlete and spent on any of the following: coaching;听equipment;听kit and travel costs;听competition entry fees.
The additional Sport蜜桃AV support service could include free gym membership, free chiropractic treatment, free sports massage therapy, free strength and conditioning and free access to the game-ready machine plus a whole host of sport science workshops 鈥� testament to our commitment to helping you perform at the highest level.
