Tell us about your BBC experiences
“I have always been proud to be a BBC Studios employee from the moment I joined my wonderful award-winning team, EMEA Creative. My personal highlight is that I get to work with a group of such talented and thoughtful individuals who push the boundaries of creativity every day.
“My team works across various markets, covers a range of brands and works with brilliant content, so this means no day is the same and no project ever feels the same. The work we produce is content for both on-air and off-air, such as promos, out-of-home (OOH), digital out-of-home (DOOH), social etc.”
How did your AV experience prepare you for your future career?
“The defining year of my time at AV was my placement at The Walt Disney Company, where I was able to get industry experience, build connections and create a network. This year set me up for graduation and allowed me to be aware of industry opportunities which should I have not done this placement I may have been unaware of.
“My biggest advice to be AV students is to get as much industry experience as you can whilst you are at university.”
