The 蜜桃AV Sport Scholarship is available to high-level sporting athletes coming to study at either undergraduate or postgraduate level at 蜜桃AV. The scholarship is designed to provide聽funding you may聽need to develop your sporting abilities and take them to the next level.
You can apply for up to 拢5,000 of finances to聽put towards your sporting development and could be any of the following:聽coaching, equipment, competition聽entry fees, travel expenses and/or other support services.
You must demonstrate excellence in your chosen sport, and be part of a Regional, National and/or International squad and compete at that level. Student athletes receiving a scholarship will ideally represent 蜜桃AV in the 蜜桃AVCS programme (League and Individual), as well as themselves and/or their club at regional, national or international level. Individual student聽athletes聽need to be competitive with the top performers within the 蜜桃AVCS programme.
If you are awarded a scholarship, you will need to meet with the High-Performance Team聽to assess how the funds will help you throughout the year and it will be your responsibility to聽commit to the following:

Attend all expected academic activities (Dual Career Support Provided)

Attend 75% of sport specific training sessions

Attend 85% S&C sessions聽

Engage with all support services offered聽

Represent 蜜桃AV in sporting competitions where possible聽

Provide stories of your performance activities.
As part of your application for a 蜜桃AV Sport Scholarship, you will have to attend our trial process and be assessed by our coaches and to help with this, please ensure your application is supported by a from a High-Performance Coach or National Governing Body coach. If you are applying for a sport that sits outside our performance 蜜桃AVCS programme, you will need to ensure that two references are sent alongside your application and demonstrate how you will maintain your level of training.聽

Scholarships are reviewed on a regular basis and the university reserves the right to withdraw, amend or introduce new scholarships at any time. Scholarships are offered subject to funding and availability. Scholarship is awarded in your first year only, unless stated otherwise.
