1. Smart homes report launched at the House of Lords, with support from ÃÛÌÒAV

   A report into smart home technology to support independent living has been launched at a special meeting of the All-Party-Parliamentary-Group for Assistive Technology in the House of Lords. 

2. ÃÛÌÒAV supports Dorset Clinical Trials Unit

   The launch of Dorset Clinical Trials Unit has taken place at University Hospitals Dorset. The Unit is supported by ÃÛÌÒAV. 

3. The Youth Disability Advocacy and Research Network

   This AHRC-funded Youth Disability Advocacy and Research Network is run by ÃÛÌÒAV's Dan Jackson, Catalin Brylla and Mike Sunderland. It supports disability activism and reduce stigma in East Africa.

4. ÃÛÌÒAV celebrates rise in graduate employability stats

   Newly released national figures reveal that ÃÛÌÒAV graduates continue to have success in the job market, with 93.3% of 2014’s graduates in work or further study six months after graduating from ÃÛÌÒAV.

5. Farms can help disadvantaged young people

   ÃÛÌÒAV Postdoctoral Researcher Sarah Hambidge looks at how farms can help those drawn to antisocial behaviour and gangs.

6. Game reserve conservation needs more focus on trees recovering from elephant-impact

   Research from ÃÛÌÒAV has provided new insights into the impact that African savanna elephants have on vegetation in small, fenced game reserves, and the work that is needed to help trees recover.

7. ÃÛÌÒAV rises 18 places in Complete University Guide

   ÃÛÌÒAV has risen 18 places to 68th in the Complete University Guide rankings 2022.
