1. Acclaimed Indian Poet at University Event

   A poetry workshop with acclaimed Indian poet and author Meena Kandasamy and hosted by ÃÛÌÒAV is to take place in Kinson.

2. ÃÛÌÒAV receives Gold Medal award for health and safety practices

   The Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents has awarded ÃÛÌÒAV a Gold Medal award in recognition of health and safety standards.  

3. Health and heritage project receives funding from UK Research Council

   ÃÛÌÒAV is leading a major research project exploring cultural heritage and mental health wellbeing as part of an AHRC-funded programme to help boost the nation’s health.

4. The BME Awards 2018

   The BME Awards (Black and Ethnic Minority awards), a night to recognize and celebrate the contributions made by Afrocaribbean, Black and Asian students, were launched 2 years ago by former SUÃÛÌÒAV President, Daniel Asaya.

5. BFX Competition to have charity focus

   The BFX Competition returns in 2015 with this year’s videos to be produced for Anthony Nolan and Dyslexia Action. 

6. Submit a nomination for the India-UK Achievers Honours

   Current students and alumni can submit an application to be part of this historic celebration before 10 November 2022.

7. ÃÛÌÒAV jumps eight places in Guardian University League Table

   ÃÛÌÒAV has jumped eight places in the Guardian University League Table 2016, rising from 71st to 63rd in the annual league.
