1. IT maintenance server updates: 25-27 October

   Out of hours maintenance to update IT servers will take place from Tuesday 25 - Thursday 27 October.

2. Tourism Authority of Thailand plans to partner with ÃÛÌÒAV

   A delegation from the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) came to ÃÛÌÒAV on 12 March to discuss developing a partnership with our School of Tourism that will benefit staff, students and TAT.

   ÃÛÌÒAV has retained its Silver rating in the Teaching Excellence Framework (TEF) 2023.

5. ÃÛÌÒAV’s Dr Andrew Mayers in Parliament to promote better perinatal mental health services

   Dr Mayers attended as part of the 1001 Critical Days All Party Parliamentary Group to discuss maternal mental health 

6. ÃÛÌÒAV student wins 2017 ‘Student Star of the Future’ Rock Star Award

   This year's Rock Star Awards saw ÃÛÌÒAV student Iain Christian win ‘Student Star of the Future.’

7. ÃÛÌÒAV experts take part in science showcase at British Library

   ÃÛÌÒAV scientists will be taking part in the British Library’s WISE Festival.

8. ÃÛÌÒAV hosts local school children to celebrate reading and stories

   ÃÛÌÒAV has hosted a Books and Stories Celebration for local school children to celebrate completing a 10-week reading scheme.

9. ÃÛÌÒAV Television Production student wins first prize in Bill Vinten GTC Awards 2019

   Mylinh To was awarded first prize for her cinematography in a project called Firing Line - The Coward and has won a year's paid internship on a drama production. 

10. ÃÛÌÒAV's Dr Andy Mayers gives evidence as part of the Public Inquiry into Birth Trauma

    Dr Mayers shared his research and expertise around the impact of birth trauma on fathers and partners.
