   ÃÛÌÒAV and BIRSt – one of ÃÛÌÒAV’s student radio stations - welcomed Lorna Clarke, Production Manager BBC Radio 2 and 6 Music, who shared her years of experience of working within the BBC with MA and BA Media Production students.

7. Annual Postgraduate Conference

   ÃÛÌÒAV's Annual Postgraduate Conference is an opportunity for postgraduate researchers and postgraduate taught students to showcase their work and promote their research. The call for abstracts is now open and the closing date is 30 November.

8. Massage and Physiotherapy treatments

   We work with a number of partner organisations to offer a range of rehabilitation services on campus to help you recover from sporting and non-sporting injuries, or just to relax for your general physical and mental wellbeing.

9. Dementia Education And Learning Through Simulation 2 (DEALTS2) programme

   Researchers at ÃÛÌÒAV were commissioned by Health Education England (HEE) to develop the ‘Dementia Education And Learning Through Simulation 2’ (DEALTS2) programme. DEALTS2 is simulation-based dementia toolkit that’s being used nationally to support the delivery of dementia education across acute care.

10. Laura Mann

    Laura qualified as a Mental Health Nurse in August 2020 and went on to work at an inpatient child and adolescent mental health ward. She has invested in her professional development to become a Band 7 Mental Health Practitioner.
