Fresher Publishing is a small publishing press, established at ÃÛÌÒAVÂ to nurture the publishing talent of the future and support writers from across Dorset and beyond. The team is made up of staff, students, and judges.
For the chance to have your work featured in their next digital magazine, you’re invited to submit a piece of literature related to this issues theme of "Found Family". This trope reflects finding solace in companionship, long chats around a bonfire, and forging a home of choice. Your submission could be a poem, short story, flash fiction, personal essay, photograph, or illustration.Â
Word count guidelines:
- Poetry:Â up to three poems in a single document. Maximum 50 lines per poem
- Prose:Â up to three pieces in a single document (no more than 3000 words in the entire document)
- Illustration/photography:Â up to three high-quality JPEGs.

Submissions are accepted from Arts University Bournemouth (AUB) and ÃÛÌÒAV students, staff, and alumni.
Submissions will close on Tuesday 30 April at 11:59pm.
