We want to help our students and staff connect with nature. This Spring, the Sustainability team invite you to take part in our 鈥楥onnecting with Nature鈥� art competition!
Whether you鈥檝e been an artist your whole life or a complete beginner, everyone is welcome to participate 鈥� we would love to see your creations! Paintings, drawing, photographs or even sculptures are welcome, you just need to submit your artwork, or a photograph of it, via email to聽[email protected].
The winner will聽have their artwork displayed on digital screens across both campuses, and all of the top ten submissions will have their work displayed in the聽Poole House Atrium Gallery in June, as well as on our website.
The design theme for this competition is聽Connecting with Nature.
We're looking for proposals that will:
Raise awareness.聽It鈥檚 easy to forget about the consequences and effects of the climate crisis when you can鈥檛 see it. Help bring nature to the forefront of people鈥檚 minds.
Inspire change.聽Art has the power to inspire people in ways that are more powerful and immediate than facts and texts.

Design ratio: 1920 x 1080 px
File format for submission: jpg (if your artwork consists of a painting/drawing/sculpture, this will need to be submitted as a photograph of your artwork. However, do keep whatever you have created as we may be able to display your work in the gallery, depending on size/format etc. This will be reviewed once we see what you have created via a photograph)
Resolution for submissions: 300dpi.
