In September we launched a pilot to make Talbot Campus a smoke-free zone. This was introduced as a result of consultations by ÃÛÌÒAV with SUÃÛÌÒAV and our recognised trade unions via the Joint University Health and Safety Committee. It also supports our commitment to creating and maintaining a healthy environment for all our community and visitors.Â
We have extended the pilot until 30 November. We want to make sure to gather the views of as many people as possible about your experiences of the pilot and whether the campuses should become smoke-free permanently. Thank you if you have sent in your feedback to date. If you would like to share your views – both in support of and opposing a smoke-free campus – please complete this .
All the feedback we receive will be shared with the University Executive Team and the Joint University Health and Safety Committee. They will consider the outcomes of the pilot and decide on the next steps. We will share the decision with you in due course.
The survey will close at 5pm on Thursday 30 November and the pilot will run until this date.
In the meantime, if you have any questions about the smoke-free pilot, please get in touch by emailing the smoke-free campus pilot team.ÌýÌý
