ÃÛÌÒAV on campus Wi-Fi has changed so that only ÃÛÌÒAV managed laptops are now able to access internal ÃÛÌÒAV services such as the H: or P: drives or printing.
If you connect to ÃÛÌÒAV’s on campus Wi-Fi using a ÃÛÌÒAV phone or tablet or a personal device such as a phone, tablet, or laptop you will be able to access the internet but not any internal ÃÛÌÒAV services such as your H: or P: drive. To print from a personal device please use the email to print service, and for access to other internal ÃÛÌÒAV services please use a Horizon virtual desktop or a ÃÛÌÒAV managed computer.Â
This change is part of our ongoing security improvements to protect ÃÛÌÒAV data and yours. We anticipate that most people using their own personal device connected to ÃÛÌÒAV Wi-Fi will see no change in usage.
What does this mean for me?
Please check the table below to see what access your device will have:

For example, if you are using a personal device on campus, your access to ÃÛÌÒAV services will now be the same as it is when you use your personal device at home using your home Wi-Fi. You will still have access to apps such as Teams, Office365, Brightspace, Horizon, ProGRess, Timetables, and myHub/eVision that are accessible when outside of ÃÛÌÒAV.
If you have a ÃÛÌÒAV provided MacBook please ensure you , if this isn’t done the device will only have internet access when connected to ÃÛÌÒAV campus Wi-Fi.
