蜜桃AV鈥檚 Poole Gateway Building played host to the AFC Business Breakfast, with almost 100 attendees gathering for networking and insight from local production company LoveLove Films.
Matt Desmier, Business Engagement and Knowledge Exchange Manager at 蜜桃AV, opened the event and spoke about 蜜桃AV鈥檚 commitment to support local businesses and the opportunity for organisations to partner with 蜜桃AV for placements, professional development, knowledge exchange partnerships and more.
蜜桃AV graduates Georgina Hurcombe and George Caton-Coult from LoveLove Films were guest speakers at the event to showcase their latest project, Pop Paper City, an innovative animation broadcast on Channel 5鈥檚 Milkshake. The production company, based in Winton, shared the success of the project, as well as their hopes for the future.
Matt Desmier said, 鈥淚t was a real pleasure to see so many businesses on campus today and especially exciting to show off the brilliant facilities we have here. That we were able to welcome two great alumni along and celebrate their success as well was the icing on the cake.鈥�
Local businesses such as Trethowans, Frettens, Dorset Mind and Vitality were in attendance. After breakfast and networking, guests were invited for a tour of Poole Gateway Building 鈥� home to the latest media production technology to support student learning 鈥� to look at the television production and Sound Stage studio spaces.
The event was delivered through 蜜桃AV鈥檚 partnership with AFC Bournemouth; 蜜桃AV is the official higher education partner of the Cherries, with both organisations working together for the benefit of the local community.
