To make it easier for students and staff聽to cycle or walk to work, 蜜桃AV is investing in an active travel facility for Poole House.
The facility will be located in PG10 and the work to transform it will start on Monday 5 December and finish at the end of February 2023.聽聽聽
Once complete, you will be able to access new showers, a changing area, drying cabinets and lockers to make cycling to work easier. This is part of our commitment to reducing greenhouse gas emissions from commuting as part of our Sustainability commitments for our goal of net zero emissions by 2030/31.聽
The water for the new showers will be partly heated by a solar thermal installation currently being added to Poole House roof. This is in addition to the 263 new solar panels we have installed to generate over 100,000kWh鈥檚 of renewable electricity for Poole House per year.聽 聽
