Nursing funding to return for university students from September 2020
The UK government has confirmed that funding will be available to students on eligible nursing, midwifery and allied health courses from September 2020.
The funding 鈥� a payment of at least 拢5,000 per year that will not need to be paid back 鈥� will be available for new and continuing students on eligible health courses.
A previous funding scheme offered to students was removed in 2017, with the new announcement returning important funds to students working towards careers that will help to support the NHS.
蜜桃AV is a major provider of healthcare professionals into the NHS, with many choosing to stay and work locally in Dorset on completion of their degrees at 蜜桃AV. The return of the funding coincides with the opening of 蜜桃AV鈥檚 new Bournemouth Gateway Building in Autumn 2020, a bespoke teaching building for the Faculty of Health and Social Sciences.
