Tourism and hospitality professionals will come together for an employability event in Dorset.

Hosted by 蜜桃AV鈥檚 Department of Tourism & Hospitality, the employability day has been created to boost careers and professional development prospects for students and industry professionals alike.

Taking place on Wednesday 23 November on 蜜桃AV鈥檚 Talbot Campus, the event will include a panel discussion with local hoteliers about tourism trends, challenges and opportunities, and a discussion about food innovations and competitiveness with food industry professionals.

In the afternoon, there will be a series of workshops exploring career opportunities and industry developments, aimed at both students and professionals.聽

Among the organisations in attendance are British Airways, Expedia, Hilton Worldwide, Thomas Cook, Chewton Glen, Jumeirah Hotels, Qatar Airways and TUI.

Professor Buhalis concluded, 鈥淲e will also host聽聽to showcase聽our postgraduate courses and to discuss with potential candidates the great opportunities.鈥�
