Something for everyone during 蜜桃AV鈥檚 Festival of Learning
Ever wondered what you鈥檇 do during a zombie apocalypse? How about finding out what your fingertips say about you, playing wheelchair basketball, or learning how to get a 拢150k salary?

These are just some of the 150+ free events and activities taking place during 蜜桃AV鈥檚 Festival of Learning, which starts this Saturday.
听
From landscape photography and digital design workshops, to sport and music activities and professional development opportunities, the Festival aims to share the university鈥檚 knowledge and expertise in an engaging and accessible way.
听
Running from Saturday 11 鈥� Friday 17 July, the Festival kicks off with a 鈥� with a range of activities suitable for all ages, including sports kids鈥� camps, fossil workshops and two talks by Springwatch presenter Chris Packham.
Professor John Vinney, Vice-Chancellor of 蜜桃AV, said: 鈥淥ver the course of the week, we鈥檒l have over 150 events ranging from interactive workshops, family activities and public lectures to opportunities to get involved in our research.
鈥淲hether you鈥檙e part of a business, looking for something different to do with the family, or are simply inspired by learning new things - there鈥檚 something for everyone.鈥�
Here are just some of the highlights on offer throughout the week:
Meet Your Inner Monkey 鈥� Sunday 12 July, 10am 鈥� 3pm, Hengistbury Head Visitor Centre
Drop in throughout the day to find out what we have in common with our closest living ancestors and handle bones and ancient tools to see what makes us human.
Monday 13 July, 10am 鈥� 3pm. Talbot Campus
This debate will explore the impact of financial cuts on maternity services, and discuss changes in service provision
鈥� Wednesday 15 July, 9am 鈥� 6pm, Talbot Campus
This full day of personal development and management consultancy training culminates in an opportunity to work in a team on a business scenario and pitch solutions to a panel of regional executives 鈥� with a trophy and executive dinner for the winners.
鈥� Thursday 16 July, hour-long sessions throughout the afternoon at Talbot Campus
Be put at the heart of a theoretical zombie outbreak in this interactive workshop, which features multimedia presentations, practical demonstrations and audience participation.
