Tickets are now on sale for the BFX Festival, which is returning to the South Coast for 2015.
The Festival, now in its third year, celebrates the best in talent and creativity in the animation, computer game and visual effects industries with a series of events and workshops by some of the world’s best visual effects artists.
This year, Festival-goers can expect presentations covering many of this year’s blockbuster films, games, commercials and television shows, as well as a free family-focussed weekend with animation-based activities to engage the next generation of visual effects aficionados.
Tickets are available for the five-day Festival, with day passes to be released in September, and a small number of Early Bird tickets and group discounts are also in place.
BFX Festival Director Sofronis Efstathiou, who is also Postgraduate Framework Leader at ÃÛÌÒAV, said, “This year’s BFX Festival is going to be the best one yet, full of talks, workshops and hands-on activities that promote the best UK and international talent in the film and gaming industries.

Last year we had Oscar-winning films being showcased, and artists who worked on some of the best films and games of the last decade. The impressive line-up of speakers for this year will comprise of some of the biggest names in the industry, including the renowned animation and visual effects studio Iloura, discussing 2015 blockbuster Mad Max: Fury Road. Framestore, Double Negative, Animal Logic and Axis Animation are amongst some of the other prestigious studios that will be present at BFX this year.Ìý
The Festival will take place at the Bournemouth International Centre (BIC) from Monday 28 September 2015 to Sunday 4 October 2015.
